After many years of struggling to get our project off the ground, it is an absolute thrill to be a part of the plan that will ensure our success. The enthusiasm, dedication, determination and commitment shown by past and current committee members was/is outstanding. I take great pride in knowing that the World's Oldest Basketball Court project will be a heritage and entertainment cornerstone for our country, province and community.

Richard Fulton
President
I firmly believe that this project not only saves a Canadian historical and basketball jewel, but also creates significant economic benefit for Charlotte County and New Brunswick, and supports youth programming and wellness. It will be a world-class tourism attraction.

Craig Young
Secretary
I’m involved with the World’s Oldest Basketball Court because it’s a globally important piece of the game’s history that deserves to be properly documented and shared. This project is a way to preserve that legacy while giving St. Stephen and this remarkable place a voice and a worldwide audience.

Louise Sumner
Basketball has always been a passion of mine, and I'm fascinated by the history of the game. Being part of a project that highlights St. Stephen's role in basketball's early story is exciting, and it feels good to give back to the community in a meaningful way.

David HysLop
Having played basketball through high school and university, and seeing the deep history of the game in our community, getting involved in this project was an easy decision—this is something that matters for our Town, our Province, and our Country.

John LeRoux
John Leroux, ONB, has been involved with the WOBC through his interest and professional experience in architecture and heritage preservation. As a passionate advocate for New Brunswick and Canadian history, he feels this is a critically important project and a jewel in the international sports legacy.

I am involved in the World's Oldest Basketball Court, as once completed, it will be an economic driver for St. Stephen and rebuild Downtown St Stephen while adding more employment to our community.

Kendall Kadatz
I grew up on a farm outside a small village in Alberta and had the opportunity to play basketball throughout my high school and college years. My belief in the power and value of small communities, and in the benefits that the sport of basketball brings to people and communities, drew me to be part of this amazing project.

Thomas liston
When I first stepped foot on the World's Oldest Basketball Court, I had chills. From that moment, I knew I would do whatever it took to preserve this Canadian cultural landmark - protecting the court where the game’s earliest evolution can still be felt in the floorboards. I am very proud to be part of the passionate team of volunteers who are bringing this incredible project to life.

The World’s Oldest Basketball Court is located in St. Stephen, New Brunswick. Let that sink in. As a proud New Brunswicker who has spent practically my entire life in the basketball world, this just makes so much sense to be involved any way I can. I feel it’s incredibly important to preserve the history of the game.
